It was a clean start with Goliad winning the first exchange. Goliad, Canadian and Atlanta held it close for the second exchange.

It was all Goliad for the final exchange and they came through for the Gold with a 46.89. Gladewater made a push at the end to come in second place with a time of 47.48 and Bushland rounded out the top three with a time of 48.30.

Fair start was called with Fairfield and Goliad making moves with the first exchange, Goliad edged them out for the lead, Fairfield and Gladewater then battled it out for the lead after the second exchange, and on the final exchange Goliad handed off first, but Fairfield fought hard and took the lead back to win the gold with a time of 1:40.48, Bushland with a strong anchor leg pushed hard to win second with a 1:41.10 and Goldiad finished in third place with a time of 1:41.71.

3A Girls 4x400m

Last year's bronze medalist came out of Universal City Randolph and the 2023 gold medal winner was Shallowater. The fastest time coming out of regionals was Goliad with a time of 3:53.27.

Randolph and Goliad made up the stagger early on the backstretch. Coming down the homestretch those two battled it out going into the first handoff with Universal City Randolph who handed off to Sophia Bendet who had just ran the 1600m, you couldn't tell. She was good to go and kept Randolph in the lead.

Goliad moved into second place after the second hand off while Universal City Randolph held onto first with Holliday solidifying third place.

Randolph kept the lead and seamlessly handed the stick off to Taylor Nunez and who was literally running away with it.  Goliad tried to make up the distance but to no avail.

Holliday kept their third place deadlock after the final exchange.

Nunez slowed down a bit coming to the finish line but still finished in first place with a time of 3:50.19, Goliad closed the distance and finished in second place with a time of 3:51.80 and Holliday came in third with a time of 3:56.14.
