A few items here to help keep you fully informed...
For middle schoolers without a conflicting league track meet and a hankering to go run some cross country, the Colorado Middle School Runner Challenge is still taking entries. The race is set to go on May 9 at the Smith Road Trailhead in Denver.
The CHSCA Fall Sports Clinic, at the usual location in Aurora, will fall on July 31 and August 1 this year. That's important to you because cross country is part of that clinic. And, if you didn't get your rules briefing attendance documented at the track and field clinic earlier this year, you either need to attend this meeting or one of the satellite clinics (more information on those to come). More information on the clinic, including the slate of speakers, should be coming soon.
And, the fall cross country schedule continues to add meets. It's far from complete at this point, but probably a lot further along than the last time you looked. Check in if you're still trying to figure out your fall schedule, or at least parts of it.
