3A Hits Some Turbulence

Some unexpected outcomes at the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede threw a little shuffle into the 3A rankings.

While no team came absolutely out of the blue, the scope of Lamar's win the the 3A Boys race and Colorado Academy's win in the 3A Girls race shook a few things up.

Lamar wrested the #1 position from Alamosa, but the Mean Moose retained a few believers, perhaps on account of the fact that this could be a different team when Isaiah DeLaCerda is suited up again.

Colorado Academy climbed two places, and closed a considerable chunk of the gap on the top three with a big win at the Stampede. Salida, though idle last weekend, retained the top position. Meanwhile, Peak to Peak, despite being unranked on one ballot, managed to climb into a tie for second despite being another of last weekend's idle teams.
