Round Three (& Final) of Evaluating the Proposal to Relax Wind Standards for State Qualifying

In two previous articles (2A Boys 2015 and 2A Boys 2014) we've looked at the top 100 and 200 runners among the 2A boys, how many wind legal times they've been able to accumulate during the season, and how many times were lost to non-legal winds if an athlete had five or fewer legal marks. We've looked at small schools because it is largely (not entirely) from these schools that the push to relax the wind standards for state qualifying seems to come.

To make sure we're not leaving either people or important data out, this final article will look at 1A girls 100 and 200 meter runners from both 2015 and 2014. The same questions are asked: how many wind-legal marks, and how many non-legal wind marks if the athlete had five or few wind-legal marks.

Once again, these data are presented in the interest of making an informed decision on the proposal to change the wind standard for allowable state-qualifying marks. 

I only went 15 deep with 1A girls because only nine qualify for state. It seems unreasonable anyone not making the top 15 rankings in either event for either year would have qualified for state in any case.
