Like a lot of other classifications and genders, 1A Girls has been running a little short on opportunities to improve on last year's marks based on this year's weather.
Just the same, the qualifying standard for the high jump has now matched last year's level, and the triple jump is already running ahead of last year.
Look for some late surges in relays as 1A teams load up relays to secure spots at state in three more weekends.
