There's plenty of reason to keep coming back!
The CHSAA season of track and field is done, but here are a few things we'll be turning our attention to over the next few days.
- The Colorado team for Great Southwest
- Another featured slideshow of Jeff McCoy's photos from state, plus a selection of featured photos from the other Colorado Track XC photographers assigned to the state meet.
- An updated list of Colorado college signings, and probably a signing feature or two
- All-State teams for the spring teams. I have my panel of coaches working on their ballots right now. Those are due Saturday night, so figure that All-State teams will start being announced the coming Sunday. One for each classification and gender. Barring ties in the voting, 20 athletes per classification and gender will be selected as All-State.
- Putting the MileSplit database to work to crunch some numbers for what next year's classifications look like based on this year's rankings.
- News updates for both track and cross country. And there are newsworthy items developing for both sports.
- And, did you know the first USATF-Colorado club meet of the summer is coming up this Saturday, May 28? It looks like a very ambitious club meet schedule for this summer.
