Junior Nationals takes place this weekend in Clovis, California. Clovis is always hot in the summer, but this summer might be a little extra toasty. So, there will be issues for the athletes to deal with.
Adding to the heat will be a solid delegation of Colorado entries.

- Ashley Miller (formerly of Cherry Creek, now of Texas), 100 hurdles
- Damajahnee Birch (formerly of Denver East, now of Arkansas), 400 hurdles
- Riley Cooney (formerly of Mountain View, now of Kansas) and Megan Wenham (formerl of ThunderRidge, now of Colorado School of Mines), 3000 steeplechase
- Andrea Willis (The Classical Academy), pole vault
- Tarynn Sieg (Eaton), shot put
- Haley Showalter (formerly of Valor Christian, now of Wisconsin), discus and hammer throw
- Nik Chappee (Air Academy), 200 meters
- Duane McClurkin (formerly of Fountain-Fort Carson, now of Colorado), 200 and 400 meters
