The temperature climbed past 60 degrees as the sun began to push westward at the Northwest Open Spaces Park in Northglenn. The cloudless blue sky and the gold hue of the leaves at the Pat Amato Classic seemed to be making predictions for the results one of the last meets of the regular season.
Indeed, Broomfield blue and the gold of Rock Canyon and Monarch would be a major theme of the day as the 5A powers brace for the final weeks of the season.
