WHAT'S NEXT
There are a lot of different next track and field destinations for those competing at the Air Force High School Indoor Open.
For many athletes in attendance, next up will be start of the CHSAA-sanctioned season on March 10 or 11. Some will make the trip down I-25 and show up in Albuquerque for Saturday's running of the Great Southwest Classic Indoor. Others will make a different road trip over Monarch Pass to the Western State High School Indoor Open. Some will go the the Mines High School Indoor Open #4 on Thursday and call it a season.
Still others will take the weekend off and then head for Pocatello for the 2017 edition of the Simplot Games.
So many options. Colorado high school indoor track and field hasn't always had nearly this wealth of opportunties.
