Meet Directors: How to Get Heat Sheets Posted

If you'd like heat sheets for your meet to be available electronically, it's easy--just read on.

Colorado Track XC welcomes the opportunity of publishing heat sheets for your meet. All I need is for the meet director to send along a set of heat sheets to be published. If those heat sheets are sent to me as a pdf file, I will make the heat sheets a downloadable file. If the heat sheets are sent to me as flat html, I will post those on the meet page. Either way, there will be a link to the heat sheets from a front-page article.

If you prefer only to release start lists in advance of the meet, we can publish and link those as well.

Please note that I usually leave pretty early in the morning on Saturdays for our own meet. That generally puts me out of the loop for publishing any heat sheets after about 6 AM (sometimes a little later) on Saturday morning. Think of that as your deadline for getting them to me.

Heat sheets, or even start lists, help build excitement and anticipation around your meet. It saves you a bundle on duplication costs. And, parents love having the heat sheets available as they watch the meet from the stands. All heat sheets are published as free content.

It's a win-win all around.
