Who Has The NBNI Qualifying Standards Already? Colorado Girls

Anna Hall has the high jump qualifying standard and will doubtlessly be accepted in the pentathlon as well if she chooses to make the trip to NBNI again this year.

Yesterday's companion piece took a look at which Colorado boys had already attained the qualifying standards for the championship events at New Balance Nationals Indoor in March. Today, we take the corresponding look at girls who have met the standard. This one's a longer list. We will only be looking at marks attained in the current indoor season, though in same cases NBNI considers marks made in other contexts.

Not everyone on the list, of course, will make the trip to NBNI, but a few will. And, all who have even made the list have accomplished something noteworthy.

60 Meter Dash (7.64) - Arria Minor (7.30), Sydnee Larkin (7.49), Emily Sloan (7.60), Maya Evans (7.60)

200 Meter Dash (24.84) - Arria Minor (23.45)

400 Meter Dash (56.54) - none

800 Meter Run (2:14.30) - none

Mile Run (4:58) - none

Two Mile Run (10:48) - none

5000 Meter Run (18:12) - none

60 Meter Hurdles (8.84) - Emily Sloan (8.38), Jaiden Paris (8.62)

High Jump (5-6) - Anna Hall (5-8.75)

Pole Vault (12-5) - Mia Manson (12-5.5)

Long Jump (18-8) - Maya Evans (19-5), Sydnee Larkin (18-9.5)

Triple Jump (38-2) - Sydnee Larkin (41-10)

Shot Put (43-2) - none

Pentathlon (3100) - none

Expect the list to lengthen over the remaining month of so of the indoor season for western states. And, a trip to lower elevation is undoubtedly in order if you aim to check of one of the distance qualifying standards.
