The Outlook:
Burlington returns as the clear favorite to claim the Union Pacific league once again. Despite graduating quite a few stars from last year's squad, they return the depth needed to maintain their hold over the league. On paper Limon looks clear to claim the runner-up spot, while Byers will battle for third.
The sprints appear to be a two-way battle between Genoa-Hugo's Caid Smith and Limon's Hauk Hubbard. While Smith looks to be strongest in the 100-200, Hubbard is in the 200-400, so the 200 should be a hotly contested race.
Austin Davis will toe the line for the hurdles as the clear favorite. There doesn't appear to be a challenger in sight. Meanwhile, the distance vents look to be a battle between Burlington's Johan Hanson, and James Linnebur of Byers. Likewise, Limon's Celby Hollenbaugh, and Davis should make a great matchup in the high jump, while Genoa-Hugo's Nicholas Knutson and Wyatt Smith of Byers will battle it out in the long jump.
