Final Coaches Poll: Boys

We're in the final days of the season, so, this will be the final Coaches Poll. We'll let the dust settle after regionals and let the chips fall where they may come October 27th.

Until then, we've got some movement in the rankings this week...

5A

Dakota Ridge maintained a slim lead over Mountain Vista in the polls this week. Surely, we'll have answers to our questions within the next week and a half.

The biggest leap came from Castle View, who jumped three spots to No. 5 this week following their third place finish at the Continental League Championships behind Mountain Vista and Heritage.

Making an appearance in the final Coaches Poll of the season was Arapahoe, who came in No. 10 this week.

4A

Niwot remained in control of 4A this week. Likewise, Durango and Air Academy held on firmly to their No. 2 and No. 3 spots.

With Palmer Ridge and Centaurus hovering just outside the top three, we'll see some big clashes this week and likely heat up on into State next week.

There was very little movement within the rankings this week, though Eagle Valley did pop in at No. 10.

3A

Peak to Peak was a solid leader in the 3A polls this week, but behind them Salida, The Classical Academy, and Frontier Academy were polling very, very close.

This will be one tight team race to keep an eye on at State, as the top five squads can go either way, depending on the day.

The biggest leap came from Holy Family, who jumped three spots to No. 7 this week.

2A

The story this week in 2A is that the stage appears already set. Heritage Christian remained on top, and Lyons and Peyton solid at No. 2 and No. 3.

In fact, there was no movement at all in this week's polls.

Weill this translated to the same lineup come State? We'll find out...
