Gilbert Limo (Texas Tech) and Beverly Ramos (Kansas State) have been named Big 12 Cross Country Runners of the Week. It is the first conference weekly award for Limo and third for Ramos.

MEN
Gilbert Limo, Texas Tech, Jr., Eldoret, Kenya
Limo captured the Texas Tech Open title for his second-straight meet win this season. His time of 23:23.3 helped the Red Raiders on their way to a team victory as well, defeating the second-place team by 46 points.

WOMEN
Beverly Ramos, Kansas State, Sr., Trujilo Alto, Puerto Rico
Ramos, in her first action this season, ran to a near 10-second victory at the Missouri State Classic, leading the Wildcats to back-to-back wins to open the season. Her time of 17:15.9 paced four other KSU runners to finish in the top 15. Ramos was the top finisher for KSU in every race last season.
