Question: So, when has this happened before?

Answer: It hasn't.

Three schools are suddenly in the business of try to find more room, at lot more room, in the trophy case. It was a good day to be running cross country for Fort Collins, Cheyenne Mountain, or The Classical Academy. Although Fort Collins, Cheyenne Mountain, and TCA managed to sweep their respective team titles, they came home without an individual title between them.

And, in 2A, the Nederland girls and Telluride boys were able to close out their seasons with the exclamation points indicated by what preceded the state meet. The sweep in 2A was at the second-place position where Lyons carted home silver trophies in both the boys' and girls' divisions.

Classification-by-classification breakdowns of today's state meet action will be posted as they are completed.

Articles, photos, and results will be posted all evening long and probably continuning into Sunday.
