Junior High Track & Field Coaches Clinic March 3

The Colorado Coaches Academy is presenting its First Annual JH Track & Field Coaches Clinic on March 3, 8:30am-12:30pm at The Classical Academy North Campus, in Colorado Springs.

The clinic is for new to seasoned junior high coaches to improve their coaching knowledge from successful high school, USATF club, and college track & field coaches. US Air Force Academy head coach Ralph Lindeman is the featured speaker and will lead the long and triple jump training sessions.

The clinic will have five teaching sessions with TCA coach Steve Rex speaking on “Successful Team Organization and Leadership," USAFA coach Ralph Lindeman is speaking on “Take your Coaching to the Next Level," and Speed T & F coach Charmas Lee is speaking on “The Impact of Coaching."

There will be two breakout sessions with options including: high jumps, triple jumps, long jumps, sprints, hurdles, shot put, discus, and middle distance training techniques.

Registration is online at www.regonline.com/CCA . The clinic fee is $35 per individual. The fee includes all the training sessions and your selection of box lunches. Deadline to register for the clinic is February 28 and is limited to the first 150 to register.
