Notes and messages from people who have found the Colorado Runners web site have startled trickling in. I have to tell you that's pretty exciting. There are many of you out there who share my passion for having a one-stop site for all things cross country and track and field in Colorado.

In conjunction with the annual Colorado High School Coaches Association track and field clinic, there will be a meeting with Rhonda Blanford-Green to discuss a new format for the state track and field meet. The meeting will be held at 4 PM at the Fort Collins Hilton on Friday, February 1.

Charles White posted a 4:13.33 indoor mile to finish 4th at the Reebok Boston Games on Saturday, January 26.

The Colorado High School Activities Association will hold its annual January meeting on Wednesday, January 23, and Thursday, January 24. Among several consitutional changes and sport-specific proposals under consideration are a few that could alter the landscape of high school track and cross country in Colorado.
