Accomplished track and field/cross country athletes from all across the state will be formalizing their college commitments starting Wednesday.

Probably not since Adam Goucher has anyone in Colorado enjoyed such uninterrupted success through high school as Evan Appel.

Kyle Macintosh continued his amazing string of performances this indoor season by dominating the boys 200 with a time of 21.73.  

The annual CHSAA Board of Control meeting concluded Thursday. While there were no major changes to the landscape, the impacts of this year's meeting will nevertheless be felt in track and cross country.

Although the season itself is still seven months away, it's hardly too soon for coaches to start shaping their schools' cross country schedules for this fall.

The Colorado High School Coaches Association will hold its annual track and field coaches clinic at the Red Lion Hotel, Parker Road and I-225, on February 6 and 7.
