Remington Ross sits on top of the 100 and the 200.

Like the boys side of 2A, the girls lists have either a dominating figure on top, or a close competition brewing.

She might only be a sophomore but Remington Ross is looking like the Queen of the Sprints. With a month to go she's on top of the 100 and the 200 quite decisively. She also comes in No. 7 in the 400, which is led by Monika Williams.

Likewise, in the Queen of the Distance is none other than Soleil Gaylord. She holds dominating No. 1 marks in the 800, 1,600, and 3,200.

In the 100 hurdles Mattie Rossi sits alone as the favorite, while Kaiya Firor tops the list in the 300 hurdles, which has four who have run 49.0 or faster.

In the throws Katie Hyke leads the discus by 10 inches, while Megan Shelton is No. 1 in the discus by nearly seven inches.

Leading the way in the long jump is Taeryn Trumper, who holds a No. 1 mark by nearly half-a-foot. In the triple jump McKenna Palmer sits on top of the rankings by a dominating margin.

The long jump is already shaping up to be a competitive event, as  Rylee Haynes and Katie Kurz are currently tied on top with a 5-3 jump.

Meanwhile, Logan Kuskie  is a clear favorite in the pole vault, as she's got the No. 1 mark by over a foot.
