With Tyrese VanHorne and Luc Andrada returning, the sprints are already shaping up to be explosive next year.

On paper Harrison looks to be the favorite to claim the team title - yes, you read that right. They may have finished 20th last year, but on paper they've got the most returning and in scoring spots. Behind them there's a massive battle brewing. A lot can change in a year. Could a team go from 20th to first? Only time will tell...

Some of the fastest in the state are in the sprints. Between Luc AndradaTyler Williams, and Tyrese VanHorne, yikes...

We're in for a treat, because these three will battle from the 100, 200, and into the 400. Between these three, they''ll be defending their state titles next year.

Andrada will look to defend his 100 title, while VanHorne will look to defend his 200, and Williams will want to defend his 400 title. The reality, however, is that they'll be defending their titles against each other. There's no one dominating figure in the sprints, there's three.

4A distance runners will likely rejoice at the fact that Valor Christian has moved up to 5A, because that means Cole Sprout will be not be on the starting line to defend his titles. An additional note, is that it's the second consecutive year Sprout has moved up in classifications.
