Meet Information
The 5K race will take place on Saturday, June 28th at 8 am (instead of its previous Sunday slot), and will be a new course starting and finishing at Lyons Md/Sr High School. The course will be a combination of the neighborhood streets by the school and the Lyons High School (St. Vrain Invitational) cross country course with a finish on the football field in the stadium.
The cost will be $10 for 18 and under, $15 for adults, and we will have a Kids' Fun Run for 12 and under for $5 (distance 500 meters) that follows the 5K. There will be age group prizes for the top 3 finishers in each category, and gift certificates for the Top 3 Overall Finishers for each gender. Rather than attach t-shirts to the entry this year, the Lyons Community Foundation will have "Rebuild Lyons Strong" t-shirts for sale at the race as an additional fund raiser. All proceeds from the race will go to Lyons Park and Rec.
