Abel Velasquez Invitational Track Meet
Coaches,
The 8th annual Abel Velasquez Invitational will be held at the new track in Ignacio on April 8th, 2017.
Scratch Meeting will be at 8:30am.
This is a state qualifying meet.
Entries are due on MileSplit (co.milesplit.com) on Friday the 7th of April, by 2:59pm.
All uniform rules will be followed, make sure your athletes are legally equipped.
The field will be a restricted area.
All races will be run as finals.
Field events will have 3 prelim throws and 3 final throws, top 7 to finals.
We will measure every legal attempt in the field events.
High Jump starting heights will be 4 1 for girls and 5 1 for boys.
There will be ribbons through 6th place, and scoring will be 10-8-6-4-2-1.
There is a $235 entry fee per school. Bring your checks to the meet, or mail them prior to the meet to: Ignacio School District

We may need schools to help run field events and/or time, so please let me know if you have workers or timers available.
We will start field events at 9:00, and running events at 11:00.
