Mountain West Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships

The Air Force Academy and Colorado State University will be at the Cadet Field House contesting the Mountain West Conference title. And just as both teams will be vying for conference honors, both teams have a handful of athletes on the bubble for national-qualifying marks who need to come up with big marks this weekend to keep their indoor seasons going.

Admission is $8 adults, $4 students

The University of Northern Colorado heads to Pocatello, Idaho, where many of their team members competed as high schoolers in the Simplot Games. Like CSU and Air Force, Northern Colorado has a couple of athletes who still harbor hopes of being in Albuquerque two weeks from now.

Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships

The PAC-12 does not have a conference indoor meet, so this is where most of the PAC-12 schools that care to deal with indoor head for a conference championship kind of meet. The University of Colorado has several athletes with hopes of making nationals and this will be a very important meet for them as only a few appear to be in right now.

RMAC Indoor Championships

If you haven't checked lately, the RMAC has a bundle of athletes in nice positions--even a few with auto qualifiers--for DII nationals. But, it never hurts to improve your mark, and that's what several will be looking for this weekend in Alamosa. Adams State brings in top national rankings and this will be your last opportunity this season to see them locally.

USATF-Colorado/Mid-America Masters & Open Indoor Championships

Rumor has it that a few high school pole vaulters will be headed to the Cadet Field House on Sunday. There may be a tiny number of additional high school entries in this meet as well--that remains to be seen.

Regrettably, there will be no on-site coverage for Colorado Track XC this weekend. We do, however,  plan to get results up as quickly as they become available. First-day results are already posted for the Mountain West Conference meet. Click on the link to the meet page to access those.
