In 3A, we are now starting to see a very good body of data, offering us a window on how the season could eventually develop. Pretty much all of the classification's major powers--schools like Lamar, Salida, Frontier Academy, Moffat County, Coal Ridge, Eaton, and Lutheran, to name a few--have at least two meets under their belts. Because of that, it's getting tougher and tougher to keep things hidden. What we're seeing now should be a decent indicator of who the classification's top individuals will be in May.

This week, we saw a string of exceptional performances--all visible below--that definitely lifted the ante on climbing into the upper echelons of 3A.
