Now into its third day, the USATF Hershey Youth Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Lisle, Illinois, has begun to pile up a handful of Colorado results.

Led by a top finish in the pole vault, Kyle Rex paced Colorado's delegation in the 17-18 decathlon. Rex's 5602 points were good enough for sixth in the competition. Landsharks Track Club teammates Will Campos and Ethan Rummell added 10th and 12th place finishes, respectively.

Chantae Steele posted the second-fastest 13-14 800 meter time (2:21.90) in prelims to advance to the finals of that event.

Julia Hall posted a 25.80 (-1.6) to advance to finals of the 17-18 200 meters. Younger sister Anna went 5-5 to win the 13-14 high jump.

Ian Rainsberger went 8-8.25 to finish second (on misses) in the 13-14 pole vault.

Kiara Kearney's 5-3 tied her for fifth in the 17-18 high jump.

Charles Broomfield got a fourth in the 15-16 shot put with a 39-5.25 effort. Adam Dawson stuck around after World Youth Trials for a little more discus action and got ninth in the 17-18 division at 143-5.

As I read things, that should close out Colorado's most notable finishes for 13-14s and up through Thursday. I'll make later additions to the article, however, if I find out I'm wrong about that.
