It has been raining in Edinburgh with more rain on the way. For those familiar with the ways to Scotland, that's not especially surprising.
But, with the course already waterlogged and no short-term relief in sight, the course has been altered for tomorrow's running of Great Edinburgh XC.
Racing should still begin at 6 AM, Mountain Standard Time, with the running of the Junior Men's 6K. The low tonight should be around 30F, with a forecasted high of 39F for race day--with ice pellets.
