State Meet Overall Program Scoring

How many different ways can you look at the state meet? Evidently, the answer to that question is not a small number.

This latest version of looking at the state meet was inspired by the observation that three of the five classifications had the same school taking both second-place finishes. Those teams were Mountain Vista (5A), The Classical Academy (3A), and Lyons (2A), and 4A missed by the slimmest of margins when Air Academy scored a second and a third that was only 12 points out of second.

So, this time, we're taking a look at combined program (boys and girls) scoring. Obviously, to count here, a school must have had a boys and a girls team competing in Saturday's state meet. I didn't go exhaustively through the list of combined scores, but I did calculate the scores for the top five in each classification. All that is shown below.
