Mines High School Indoor #1: A Rousing Success on the First Try

Chase McLean has pole vaulted in competition before, but not like last night.

Lots of folks take several iterations to get things right. Not so with the folks at Colorado School of Mines.

Their first Thursday high school indoor meet was a smashing success. A complete meet (less relays and the triple jump) completed in two hours and twenty five minutes. Attendance that exceeded anyone's expectations. A great time had by all, even if the turns are a little tight.

Maybe it's all those fun-loving engineering types drawn to the academic climate at Colorado School of Mines?
