What Did It Take To Advance To State Last Year? 5A

Mia Coats' strong opener at the Boulder Snow has her currently atop the 5A Girls 200 meter rankings and just barely ahead of last year's minimum qualifier in the event.

It's 5A's turn now.

5A this year figures to be a lot like last year. I believe that, overall, 5A is net down a team or two from the count of teams last spring, but the count is similar enough to last year that the qualifying standards will be impacted far more by individual variation among the competitors than by count of teams.

So, your best first clue as to what it will take to qualify for State this year is what it took last year. We're here to help you with that.
