ThunderRidge Dominates Girls Team Race
The ThunderRidge girls team enjoyed and capitalized on the lower altitude and great track conditions - to the tune of 131 points to Battle Mountain's 66. For the record, the race for second was very tight as Durango netted 64 and Telluride 62. The blue and green TR-fronted and plaid-backed jerseys had infiltrated and conquered--and this is a good thing!
It is difficult for many Western Slope Schools to make it to meets the Front Range. Heck, it's hard enough for many to make it to Stocker Stadium. On the Western Slope we are greatly appreciative of the great facilities and the great folks that host, time and officiate the meets at Stocker Stadium and surrounding venues. It is a privilege to show Front Range schools what we offer and it's great to have the additional competition they bring, as demonstrated by the huge number of PRs achieved so early in the season.
Come back. And bring your friends!
