Where Are We Versus Recent State-Qualifying Standards? 3A Boys

If you've been around for a while, you know this article starts appearing as a staple about this time of the season. We look at where the current #18 cutoff is versus recent years' minimum marks to advance to State. 

As you're already aware, 3A figures to be a tougher classification this year than last owing largely to the arrival of several schools down from last year's 4A. That wasn't offset all that well by a few departures to 2A. So, we expect--sooner or later--the 3A standards to be creeping above last year's minimums to advance to State.

In any case, here is where we are now with respect to the eventual minimums for 2015 and 2016:
