Not too long ago, Cedaredge coach Kirby Henderson began compiling all-team team podium finishes for track and field (boys, girls). I've long felt it would be nice to have that for track and field as well, but didn't get around to making that a reality until this year.
But, it's coming together now. We'll have to be content--at least for a while--knowing only the first-place teams for most of the early years of the sport for the boys. But, there's a chance we can flesh out all the first through third place finishes later.
For now, though, here is a complete history of the girls top three team finishes at State for Colorado high school girls cross country:
