Colorado's Top Five Cross Country Boys, Fall 2017

Charlie Perry, Senior, Monarch

Leadership of the Monarch varsity seven figures to fall into Perry's lap this fall. Like Theodore, Perry has a large stake in the fortunes of a team potentially very much in the title hunt. So, like Theodore, Perry doesn't figure to lack for motivation coming from a variety of corners.

Perry didn't take many first places last year, either in track or cross country. That might have a lot to do with who he had for a teammate, but Perry was also never very far from first. He did pick up wins at Pat Amato and at the Front Range League meet in the 1600. He figures to match that total not very far at all into the coming cross country season.

Perry brings back the top 3200 time in the state (9:27.37), the #4 1600 time, the #2 5K cross country time from Colorado, and a wealth of experience. Perry also ran 9:07 for 3200 at Arcadia in April.
