Want a voice in what happens with cross country? Attend the meeting!
The annual CHSAA Cross Country Committee Meeting takes place on Monday, November 13. All cross country coaches around the state are welcome to attend (you should, however, notify CHSAA of your intention to attend) and be part of the meeting. The meeting begins at 9 AM and typically lasts until around noon.
Since we'll be entering into a new cycle next season, there's a high likelihood that regional assignments will be discussed, and possibly even made, at the meeting.
Proposals will be taken for new host sites for state cross country. That's not necessarily to say that State will be moving from Norris Penrose/Bear Creek Park, but that any potential alternate sites for 2019 and 2020 need to throw their hats into the ring at this meeting.
Any other proposals from leagues for rule changes will also be entertained at this meeting. The committee will vote on proposals duly received and forward recommendations to the CHSAA Legislative Council meeting in January.
See you there!
