Coloradans Go The Distance For The Win

Kaylee Kearse went the distance -- literally -- to win the 400 at the Cedarville Rickey Tune-Up this past weekend.

While the masses descended on the Cadet Field House this past weekend, not every Colorado standout competed there. Some went to lands far warmer, and some went to lands far away. And they made sure the distance traveled was worth it.
Peyton's Kaylee Kearse traveled all the way to Cedarville, Ohio, for the Cedarville Richey Tune-Up, and she made sure to make the most of her short time on the track. Kearse won the 400 in 1:00.88.
And she wasn't the only Coloradan taking a win on foreign soil this weekend.
Ignacio's Natoni Cundiff went south to Albuquerque, New Mexico and dominated the shot at the Duke City All-Comers meet. Cundiff threw a Colorado-leading mark of 38-5.25. The mark is nearly foot ahead of her nearest Colorado competitors.
