Snowy Conditions At The Snowshoe State Championships

Snow was plentiful for the Colorado High School Snowshoe State Championships at Colorado Mountain College in Leadville. While the area had been mostly dry heading into the race, snow fell right in time. Four inches fell as the morning progressed, creating ideal conditions. 

Summit's Jeremiah Vaille took title by just over a minute.

Vaille completed the course in 24:01. Taking second was Tristan Barnes, who finished in 25:04, while 
Walker Rudolph rounded out the top three in 25:12. 
Taking the girls race was Sedona Ray in 35:05. 
Cheyenne Mountain defended their team title -- their sixth team title. Poudre narrowly beat Smoky Hill for second.
