Colorado will be well represented at this weekend's USATF Junior National Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
From this year's field of high school athletes, Alexandria White (George Washington) will be competing in the triple jump (pending verification of entry), Kelsey Williamson (ThunderRidge) in the 400, Mason Finley (Buena Vista) in the shot put and discus, Cory Engel (Northglenn) in the 110 and 400 hurdles, and Samantha Berggren (Middle Park) in the 400 and 800.
Other names entered that fans of high school track and field in Colorado should recognize are Michael Hancock in the 110 hurdles, Brianne Beemer in the 400 hurdles and pentathlon, Tony Crisofulli in the 800, Scott Ingram in the 1500, Kevin Williams in the 5000 meters, and Katie Dreher in the pentathlon.
Competition begins on Thursday and continues through Sunday in conjunction with the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
