Boulder has been making gains, that's for sure. After climbing five spots to the No. 5 position in the latest Coaches Poll, they put on a show Saturday morning, proving why they deserve to be considered a threat.
Behind Vieth's big win, Izzy Heart, Bettina Burgess, Kate Zacharias, and Marist Wrenn made it a Boulder kind of day, as Purple singlets filled five of the top 11 spots.

As mentioned on the previous page, freshmen are dangerous. And while Boulder is sitting smack in the middle of the latest rankings, it's not outside the realm of possibility - they have been making big gains as of late.
Boulder dominated the team race with 28 points. Rock Canyon was a distant second with 93 points, and taking third was Columbine with 111 points.
