Colorado Sending 28 To New Balance Nationals Indoor

Over two dozen Colorado track and field athletes will put their outdoor seasons on hold for at least another week as they head to the Big Apple for New Balance Nationals Indoor.

10 boys and 18 girls will represent Colorado this weekend. Among those highlighting the massive squad  include Cole Sprout in the mile, Max Manson in the pole vault, Zion Gordon and Cameron Harris in the 60 hurdles, Mason Anthony in the long jump, and Anna Hall in the pentathlon.

Sprout is racing his first big mile of the 2019 season following a third place finish at Nike Cross Nationals last December, while Manson enters the meet with the No. 3 mark in the country. Meanwhile, Gordon and Harris are currently sitting No. 6 and No. 7 in the 60 hurdles, while Anthony is just outside the Top 10 in the long jump, at No. 12.

And Colorado's best bet for a national title, in addition to a(nother) national record, is undoubtedly Hall, who currently owns the high school pentathlon national record of 4,302 points, and is the two-time defending champ.
