Five Competitions To Watch At The St. Vrain Invitational

The Girls 200

We've got quite the battle brewing in the 200, and it's between a 100/200 specialist, verses a 200/400 specialist.

It's Colorado's version of the Michael Johnson vs Donovan Bailey Battle.

Sydney Holiday and Camille Peisner are two of the top three 200 sprinters in the state this season, and they'll toe the line against each other at St. Vrain.

Holiday owns personal bests of 11.72 in the 100, and 24.34 in the 200, while Peisner owns PRs of 24.21 in the 200, and 54.31 in the 400.

Within state competition, Holiday has only lost one 200 battle, while Peisner owns a clean slate. While the two haven't raced each other this season, this won't be the last time - because we'll be getting a prequel to 5A State 200 final here, minus The Arria Minor

Whoever wins this battle will likely have a bullseye on their back for a week, or an edge. Either way, it's going to be a great race, so keep your eyes on the track when the girl's 200 launch out of the blocks.
