Kain Medrano won the discus, finished second in the shot, and seventh in the javelin.

In the 100 Colorado's fastest sprinter, Luc Andrada, remained on top with a ninth-place finish in 10.67. Jackson Connelly was just over a tenth of a second back in 10.81 for a 16th place finish.
Andrada remained on script through the 200, leading Colorado just off his PR, running 21.63 to finish 10th.
In the 1,600 Colorado's freshman-phenom Erik Le Roux nearly pulled off the feat of claiming a GSW title his first year in Colorado green.
Le Roux led a tight pack through the early stages of the event in a honest pace before the heat began to take its toll on the field. Heading into the bell lap it was down to three with Le Roux still in the hunt. The trio kicked hard down the backstretch dropping down to two: Le Roux and Spanish Fork senior Wyatt Evans. But in the end age prevails, as Evans was able to inch away from Le Roux. Evans took the win in 4:23.22, just ahead of Le Roux's 4:23.97.
And that wasn't Le Roux's only big result from the final day, or Colorado's only runner-up in a distance event.
Under the lights and with a little less heat (meaning, it was in the mid 80s rather than the 90s), Aidan Fitzgerald and Le Roux went head to head to head with Ian Valentine in the 3,200.
In a race that had seven dip under 10 minutes, Valentine had his day once more with a one-second victory of Fitzgerald, running 9:30 to 9:31. Le Roux was just a few strides back once again, finishing third in 9:35.
Heading into the field, Kaiden Keefe went big in his only outdoor long jump this season. Keefe finished seventh with a leap of 22-8.5.
Colorado's King Of The Throws, Kain Medrano, was everywhere.
In the discus Medrano showed the competition how he does things in Colorado. The Pueblo-East grad and future UCLA Bruin dominated the event with a throw of 176-3.75.
Medrando also took a close runner-up in the shot, throwing 57-9.25, and he also finished seventh in the javelin, throwing nearly the same distance as he did in the discus - 176-6.
In the team competition Colorado finished fourth with 94.5 points. Missouri took a dominating win with 187.5 points, while Texas finished second with 131 points, and Utah third with 119.
