Kenadi Krueger claimed her seventh Northern League title Friday afternoon. 

It was another big week of results from across the state - grab that cup of coffee, and maybe a bagel this time. Here's the Week In Review... 

We've got to start with Riley Stewart's stellar 17:05 clocking at the Cherry Creek Steve Lohman Invite. Not only is that a personal best, or currently the fastest time run in the state, but it's the sixth fastest time run in Colorado over the past decade. Add the fact that for the first time in a few years the fastest time run in the state will not have been run at Liberty Bell. 

In the wake of Stewart's dominating performance, Samantha Blair dropped a 17:28 - a Colorado personal best, and Arapahoe downed Cherry Creek. 

On the boy's side of the competition Grahm Tuohy-Gaydos picked up win No. 7 (out of nine), running 15:45, to lead Green Mountain to the team title.

I said this a few weeks ago, and I'll say it again: keep an eye on Pomona's Emma Stutzman. The freshman picked up win No. 2 of her season at the Pat Amato Classic, running 18:11 - that's a 25 seconds PR, beating out her 18:36 clocking from Liberty Bell. 

Yasin Sado was the big winner on the boy's side, running 15:24 for a 20-second victory. Isaac Roberts finished fourth in the race in 15:55 - that's currently the fastest time in 2A.

In Loveland it was a Thompson Valley kind of day, as Kenadi Krueger and Dylan Schubert picked up individual Northern League titles. Krueger's dominating 18:40 victory was that was her seventh league title. Cruz Culpepper opened his 2019 season here, though Schubert took the battle with a decisive 15:27 victory, setting up a great clash at state in three weeks.

On the other side of the state Basalt's Sierra Bower continued to turn heads. Her 17:40 victory is the fifth-fastest time run in the state this year, and clear of the 3A field. 62 seconds to be exact. Durango's Luke Tichi was the big winner on the boy's side of the competition with a 15:46 victory.

Ella Chura, fresh off her 17:52 PR from Desert Twilight, was the runaway winner with the Pikes Peak Athletic Conference title, while Hope Stark was just seven seconds back. Air Academy took the girl's title in a tight team race 31-39 over Palmer Ridge. 

Likewise, Matthew Mettler and Erik Le Roux battle for the boy's title with Mettler taking the W 16:17 to Le Roux's 16:23. 

Just like the girl's side of the competition, the team race was close - but even closer. Cheyenne Mountain and Air Academy both tallied 39 points, though Cheyenne Mountain got the nod for the title with their sixth man finished 13th. Palmer Ridge took third with 58 points.

Meanwhile Shannon King started a streak, picking up the W at the 3A Metro League Meet. Faith Christian dominated the team race with 24 points.  

Kylie Simshauser cracked 19 at the Tri Peaks League/Black Forest League championships, running 18:53, while the Conifer duo of Zack Gacnik and Topi Alahuhta went 1-2 at the Colorado 7 League championships.
