Some things will change next fall, and some things won't.
Among the notes coming out of the recent the CHSAA cross country committee meeting were potential changes in scoring among the 2A classification.
In the past few years 2A has run six, and scored three. Moving forward, the committee voted unanimously to run six, and score four.
The proposal will have to be approved Legislative Council in April.
Among the things that are not changing will be the location of the cross country state meet. Freshmen who competed on the Norris-Penrose Event Center course in Colorado Springs this fall will be competing there through the entirety of their high school career, as the committee voted to extend the site as the of state meet through 2023.
