Fort Bend Marshall's (TX) Devon Achane is the top returner in the boy's 200m for the 2020 season.
And at the 2019 UIL Track and Field Championships, he became the Texas UIL Class 5A state champion with a wind-legal time of 20.69 (+1.1) seconds. That came after the Texas A&M signee ran a personal and lifetime best of 20.46 seconds in April at his District 23/24 Area Meet, which finished as the nation's fastest time of the year.
During the 2020 outdoor season, he opened up in the 200m at the Clear Falls Knight Relays, placing second with a time of 21.57 seconds. Achane also ran a personal best in the 100m with a time of 10.53 seconds at the Spartan Relays in February.
