What was your most memorable race/throw/jump/vault/moment?

The most memorable moment in high school for me was running 2:02 in the 800 as a freshman at my league meet, which was good enough to score points for my team.

Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?

My teammate Yasin Sado was my biggest competition in high school, we've always had great battles in the 800 and even in practice we push one another. It's great friendly competition.

                                                What was your greatest accomplishment?

Qualifying for state as a sophomore in the 800 running 1:57.

If you could do it all over again what would you change about your career in high school?

I would start building my mileage earlier like as a sophomore and not having waited till my senior year.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

I had to overcome many seizures I started getting my junior year. It was unpredictable and ruined my junior year, and also many injuries I faced throughout high school.

What will you miss the most?

The friendly competition with my close friends and pre race nerves.

What advice would you give to younger athletes?

Enjoy every moment of the sport from the hard moments you have to push through, to the easy runs. Be grateful every time you step on that line to compete and truly enjoy the process because it will come to an end and you will truly miss it all.

What influence has your coach had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?

My coach's have taught me to be a fighter and get through all the hard moments. My coach's have influenced me to be a hard worker and be to never give up.

                                                What are your college plans?

My college goals are to run at a high level and make up for all the missed opportunities from high school.

Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?

Thank you to my family, supporters, competition, and coach's for all the help they've provided me throughout the years!

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

I would just like to add that it's been a memorable 4 years running here in Colorado and enjoyed all the memories I've made!
