With the State Championships passing without anyone being crowned a champion, it's only
fitting that we've produced something that will get you excited. We've gone back to 2000 and
recorded data of the best athletes in the last 20 years and have compiled a 64 athlete
tournament.
With our data we were able to create a rankings system where we ranked all 700+ athletes. The top 64 athletes are those who will be participating in May Madness. The rankings are determined by a weighted system where top-5 marks and state titles hold more weight than top-10, top-15, top-20, top-25, and top-30 marks.
It wasn't easy when the matchups were made, as some top names face off against each other to kick us off. Truth be told, Colorado prep history is spectacular and many of these athletes are deserving of winning. Luckily for us, we won't have the tough decision to make when it's all said and done.
