While Wolfe was resetting the Colorado soil record, course record, and running a nation-leading time in the boy's race, Sydney Thorvaldson did the exact same thing in the girl's race.
The Rawlins (WY) senior who finished third at Team Nationals last year torched her own course record - and the competition - from the opening strides, to run a jaw-dropping a PR of 16:19.
Her performance sliced 21 seconds off her own course record, and it currently leads the country by six seconds.
Behind her Riley Stewart once again threatened the 17 minute barrier, running 17:06. The time was just one second off her Colorado PR, and No. 6 in the country.
While Thorvaldson's performance definitely stole the show, Emma Stutzman had an incredible run of her own.
The Pomona sophomore kicked hard to join the Sub-18 club, running a monstrous PR of 17:37 to finish third. She chopped over 30 seconds off her previous best.
Samantha Blair took fourth overall just behind Stutzman, running 17:39
Speaking of joining the Sub-18 club, Arapahoe's Ava Mitchell and Emily Lamontagne both ran 17:48, while Valor's Jocelyn Millican was just a few strides back in 17:50.
Taylor Whitfield dipped under 18 as as well, running 17:58, which was just ahead of yet another new Sub-18 club member, Shayda Zarrin, who ran 17:59.
The highly anticipated team race lived up to the hype, as Valor Christian and Arapahoe were only separated by single digits.
Valor Christian emerged as the victors here, tallying 36 points, which was just ahead of Arapahoe's 43. Mountain Vista took third with 70 points.
Valor's depth proved to be the difference here, as they put their top five in the top 13, and had a 1-5 split of 49 seconds.
