In the girl's 5A race Elena Torres raged over the final two miles of the course to lead Loveland to a 1-2 finish.
Torres took the victory in 18:58, which was just under a minute ahead teammate Cadence Lapp's 19:55 runner-up finish.
Brighton's Claire Engelhardt was close third, running 20:04.

Loveland's 1-2 punch was aided with a 8-9-10 finish to cap their scoring at 30 points. Castle View took second with 55 points, while Brighton was third with 81.
The boy's race saw three finish within four-seconds of each other.
Owen Zitek, Jayden Royer and Noah Schneiderman fortunately had dried mud to kick over, as they came into the Norris-Penrose Stadium in a blanket of three.
Zitek took the victory with a 17:16 clocking, which was just ahead of Royer's 17:19, and Schneiderman's 17:21.
Grandview and Castle View took the team race down to single digits, with Grandview emerging the victors. They tallied 31 points, which was just ahead of Castle View's 39. Loveland took third with 79.
