Boulder's Gavin Geer was the runaway winner of the boy's Division 1 race. Greer was the lone sub-16 clocking in the race, running 15:51.
Fruita Monument's Kien Cogley took the runner-up spot here, running 16:02.

Aided by Greer's one point, Boulder took a tight team race, tallying 143 points. Horizon was second with 148, and Castle View was third with 174.
While Greer's win was decisive, Adele Havlick dominated the girl's race
The Palmer junior caught the tail-end of the boy's race, running 18:15 - a 31-second victory. Rock Canyon's Amanda Bermingham took second in 18:46, which was just ahead of Lindsay Cook's 18:53.

The Boulder girls made it a sweep of the team race - they tallied 109 to take the girl's title. Castle View was second with 126, while Monarch was third with 154.
