Colorado Girls Performer of the Week (March 10-16)

Congratulations to Sylvie Harrison of Palmer High School, who won our first edition of performer of the week! Now onto this week, and don't forget, voting closes on Friday, March 21 at Midnight!

Maren Holecek, Monarch High School

Tying her personal best in the 200m was Maren Holecek, who ran 24.84. To be this fast this early on in the season is definitely a good sign for Holecek, who finished 4th in the 5A division at state with that same time.

Reese Kasper, Niwot High School

After a quick turn around from CSU-Pueblo on Saturday, Reese Kasper competed on Monday and ran an impressive time of 43.62 in the 300m hurdles, putting her at #1 in Colorado.

Eliana Angelino, Lakewood High School

Racing at the Jeffco Non-Qual #1, Eliana Angelino won the 800m in a time of 2:12! This time easily earned her a MileSplit First Team National standard and puts her as the fastest time in the distance in Colorado.

Addison Bartlett, Riverdale Ridge High School

The NoCo -Roosevelt Qualifier produced some impressive marks, including Addison Bartlett's huge toss of 137-10 in the discus. Though it was a close competition, Bartlett won out and earned an impressive victory.

Taegan Olson, Roosevelt High School

Tying her personal best mark she set last week was Taegan Olson, who vaulted over a height of 12-0! To consistently get over that height this early on in the season is exciting and shows a lot of promise for Olson and the rest of the competition year.
